New documents - Changes to directors (coming soon)

The team at Smarter SMSF is currently working on a number of new documents to support changes to directors of a SMSF corporate trustee.  These will include:

1. Change of directors - allowing you to add, remove or add & remove a director from a SMSF trustee company.
2. Removal of director due to legal disability - this will remove the director of the SMSF trustee company where the individual has lost capacity and will have the individual(s) that hold an Enduring Power of Attorney (EPA) to replace them in accordance with s.17A(3)(b) of the SIS Act.
3. Removal of director due to member's death - this will remove the director of the SMSF trustee company where the individual has died and will have the Legal Personal Representative (LPR) replace the deceased person until such a time that the death benefit commences to be paid, in accordance with s.17A(3)(a) of the SIS Act.

Please note that we expect to have (1) & (2) released in mid-December 2022, with (3) to be available later in January 2023.

Integrations will be available with these documents using BGL's Simple Fund 360 and CAS 360, along with Class and SuperMate.
