Member Update - full news - February 2019

From the activity we can see on the platform, it appears that everyone is back in full swing for what is shaping as a very intriguing year ahead.  On the development front, we are making excellent progress on some key projects for the platform that we will be rolling out over the coming months.  This includes additional API features to help streamline and further improve the document delivery experience.  We will keep you posted with these advancements through our member news.

From 1 March 2019, for members of our Create Legal and Accountant Bundles, you will see a $5 +GST increase in the fee when doing a company incorporation ($30 +GST).  Currently an additional fee of $25 +GST is applied on top of the ASIC fee to accommodate the ongoing work and support needed with the ASIC integration.  Not having increased this fee since the inception of our document service, and with an ever increasing number of company incorporations each month, this change reflects the ongoing costs attributable with these orders.  This will apply to both standard and special purpose company orders.

We are continuing to explore options around the company incorporation process to ensure that we deliver a seamless and cost-effective solution for you.  This includes some work we are currently doing to order companies via CAS360 for BGL users - see further details about this below.

Discretionary Trust

Having recently released our discretionary trust, it has been pleasing to see a few members now starting to utilise this document as part of their Create Legal and Accountant's Bundle packages.  It can also be purchased on the pay-as-you-go (PAYG) basis for $165 (inc. GST).

Unit Trust Deed

We are also in the final stages of development for the Unit Trust Deed and expect to have this document available for use by the early March.  This document will also be included as part of the Create Legal and Accountant's Bundle packages. 

Company constitution

For BGL users, we will shortly have an alternative way to setup new companies that will allow you to start the process from within CAS 360.  Using CAS 360 to setup and register the company, you can then using the integration to call this data to seamlessly create the company constitution.  This process will allow you to save on the additional administration fee charged by Smarter SMSF as you are registering the company via CAS360, not through us.  

We expect this document and integration to be available by the end of February and will provide further details at that time.
