What to do if my company order is rejected by ASIC?

An order may be rejected by ASIC where you use a same, similar name or disallowed word within the company name (see disallowed words below).

Where this occurs, you will receive notice of the rejection by ASIC and this notification will also show within your Campus dashboard as an item that requires attention (see screenshot):

Next step:

To fix the order, you need to go to  Documents > Completed and click  amendso that you can make the necessary changes to the order (see screenshot):

This order will be resubmitted to ASIC for further review and subsequent approval to generate the fund documents.

Company name availability:

There are a few things you should consider when choosing a company name.  You cannot register a name that is identical to an existing name and some terms are restricted.

For full details, refer to the ASIC website, http://asic.gov.au/for-business/starting-a-company/how-to-start-a-company/company-name-availability/
