COVID-19 Rent Relief for related party tenancies
The COVID-19 rental relief documents have been created to support a related party tenancy arrangement with an SMSF as landlord that requires rental relief due to the economic impacts of the coronavirus. The documents have been created following the guidance provided by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and the mandatory Code of Conduct for commercial tenancies ("the Code". To support the ordering process with the Code, Smarter SMSF has built a google sheet to work through the calculations required with the guiding principles.

- Letter from Lessee requesting rental relief
- Trustee minute of decisions regarding granting of rental relief
- Letter from Lessor outlining terms of relief (including schedule where mandatory Code of Conduct is applied)
