Using BGL integration to order a Smarter SMSF Investment Strategy document

How to utilise integration from within BGL Simple Fund 360 to order SMSF documents from Smarter SMSF platform

You can connect from BGL Simple Fund 360 to order your SMSF documents from Smarter SMSF document platform.

Step 1. From within the BGL software, select the Connect button

Step 2. Select Order Documents

Step 3.  Confirm the connection by clicking on the Edit Entities (funds) button. This enables you to select from the list, the number of entities that are attached to the firm.

Step 4. There is an option to remove and edit the number of entities from the process. In this example, the Citizen Super Fund entity will be used.

Step 5. Click the Save button.

Step 6. Click the Authorise the connection button.

NOTE: This does not pass across the select entities' data, it simply makes the data available for use with the integration to generate the document order.

Step 7. Having already logged into the BGL software, you can select from the list of Smarter SMSF documents. For this example, we will select the Investment Strategy. Select Documents and Create new.  

Step 8. You can type to search and select the Investment Strategy document.

Step 9. Click the Order Now link

Step 10. From the connection to BGL software and based upon the two funds (entities) we had chosen to give permission earlier, they appear in the drop-down Fund list.

Step 11. From the Fund list drop-down, select the relevant fund and the system will populate all of the information that we know is contained within the BGL API (the data contained within the client file) Simple Fund 360, This will complete the fields within the document form.

Step 12. Select The Citizen Superannuation Fund

Step 13. The integration will populate the order form.

Step 14. Complete the remaining fields that don't relate to the API.

Step 15. After completing all the fields, submit the order. 

Step 16. A summary of the data entry will be displayed on the screen for you to review, before adding your payment details and clicking the Order Now button.

Step17. A confirmation message for the submitted order will be displayed.

Step 18. You can select Documents and Completed Orders to see the completed document.
