How to order an SMSF Document from the Smarter SMSF Document Platform

Once you have obtained your Login details go to the Smarter SMSF website via the direct method.

1. From the Smarter SMSF website: smartersmsf.com

2. Select from the menu 'Login' > 'Platform Login'

3. Enter your login details and click the 'Log in' button.

4. You arrive at the Smarter SMSF Dashboard.

Note: the internet webpage address commences with 'app.smarter'.  This web address and server is gradually being decommissioned. 

5. Navigating over to the top right of your screen, within the purple ribbon area, move your mouse to the four squares icon and click on the 'App Switcher'.

6. A dropdown menu appears > select 'Documents'.

7. The 'Create New' - Create Documents listing opens to display the available list of SMSF documents to order. Scroll down the list to locate the appropriate document.

Note: the internet webpage address commences now with 'docs.smarter'.

8. Click the arrow symbol next to the document to expand to read a Description of the document, Software integrations, Smarter Legal Review and a link to a Sample document.

9. You can order the selected document, click the 'Order Now' button.

NOTE: For BGL software users who have obtained a login via the BGL portal, completed the initial application form to create a document platform login, or you are a document subscriber, the price if the document is irrelevant.  

10. The document opens and you can commence populating the related fields with the required data.

11. Selecting 'Save' allows you to exit the document and return to resume at a later time. Alternatively, complete all the necessary fields and select the 'Next' button to continue over to the next screen.

NOTE: The Smarter SMSF Document Platform, data to populate the entry fields can also be 'pulled' or 'pushed' using software integrations with BGL Simple Fund 360, CAS 360, and CLASS super and SuperMate .

Correcting a data entry error after generating an SMSF document

If you have made an error in data entry in generating an SMSF document or an SMSF document didn't populate correctly, you can regenerate and download the document again. 

12. Once the document has been generated, from within the Smarter document platform, navigate to the 'Completed Orders' table. A note that to use step 5. above to access this table via the App Switcher > Documents. The website address should display docs.smarter.

13. You are able to 'Search' the Document Order I! or Entity name inn the table.

14. Once you locate the Document order to be changed, reset using the 'Actions' button and select 'Reset Documents'.
