Send to Class - Business Level
Smarter SMSF has released a new feature that allows Class users to not set up new SMSF orders directly into Class at a ‘Business Level’. With Class offering firms the ability to set up funds within the software at a business level and brand level, this new business level feature has been one of our most requested items in recent times.
We have created step-by-step instructions below to utilise this ‘Send to Class’ feature, noting that it is available for both setting up the fund in Class, and to send fund documents to Class using the ‘Docs to Class’ API feature.
Steps:
1. Under the ‘Integrations’ section, you will connect to Class by pressing on the ‘Connect’ button.
2. To access the integration, you will need to login and connect using Multi-factor Authentication (2FA)
3. You can then choose the ‘business’ that you wish to connect to via the API
4. Once the business is connected, you will see it as active on the Connections section on the Smarter SMSF platform - https://docs.smartersmsf.com/connections/
5. If you want to connect to multiple businesses, you can click on the ‘Connect’ button and repeat the process to connect to another business:
6. Once the business is connected, you can go to the Completed orders section and select the new SMSF that you wish to Send to Class’.
7. A screen will appear allowing you to choose from a dropdown the Business that you want the new SMSF to be sent to and setup within Class.
NB. If there is a brand, you can also select the Business Brand to set up the file.
- You will get a ‘success’ or ‘failed’ message upon clicking the ‘Send to Class’ button.
- Login to your Class software to review the information posted via the API to Class.
